about
We've all been there. We know what it feels like to die alone in that pit, any hope of a comeback melting away in the acid rain, as the enemy team spams "GG EZ" in all-chat.
It's the kind of thing there should be mournful folk-songs about, but there isn't. Consider this my attempt to help fix that problem.
lyrics
Oh there is a place
by the river's edge
they call the Baron pit
And it's been the ruin
of many a team
and tonight
it seems
we're it
Our jungler was a Nunu
Tried to bring the Baron down
But he got zoned out and finished off
They left him on the ground
Our midlane pick was Yasuo
With a godlike KDA
Five men jumped him from a bush
And now his screen's turned gray
Our Marksman was an Ashe main
Her ult-engage was brave
But her aim was a few pixels off
and now she's in her grave
Our toplaner ran Nasus
Four hundred stacks on Q
But he couldn't close the gap in time
And their poke comp ran him through
And I alone am left alive
A Leona with her health brought low
Cowering in the tribush
As the Baron dies so slow
They lost their jungler in the fight
And they did not sweep our wards
They think I've backed to heal my wounds
But I'm raising up my sword
Though I may blow my ult in vain
Though our loss may be complete
I'll Flash across the wall and fight
Find honour honour in defeat
The river boils, the Baron screams
My Solar Flare flies wide
But their markman gets the final hit
He dances as I die
Oh there is a place
By the river's edge
They call the Baron Pit
And it's been the ruin of many a team
And tonight
it seems
we're it
